Vehicare Fleet Solutions Helping Anheuser-Busch Maintain Sustainable, Best-in-Class Fleets

Vehicare Fleet Solutions recently announced a deal to provide fleet maintenance solutions in the St. Louis and Houston markets for Anheuser-Busch. Under the long-term contract, Vehicare will maintain fully Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks, powered by Natural Gas Cummins Westport engines using Renewable Natural Gas.

Renewable natural gas is an affordable, clean and widely available alternative fuel. Because it’s produced from waste, renewable natural gas reduces reliance on fossil fuels.

As their fleet management partner, Vehicare is proud to work with Anheuser-Busch to reduce the environmental impact of its truck fleet. Through industry-leading data analysis, Vehicare’s expert team delivers on these goals by:

  • Expanding and maintaining fleet of 66 sleeper trucks and 115 day cabs
  • Reducing fleet emissions
  • Maintaining fleet uptime and providing a good return on investment
  • Controlling costs and increasing efficiency

The Anheuser-Busch/Vehicare Partnership

To help provide our customers the best value possible, our team provides spec assistance as part of our services. For Anheuser-Busch, Vehicare worked with factories to provide the best recommendation on the overall end product specs.

“At Vehicare, our mission is Customize, Perform and Manage,” said Vehicare President Don Kelley. “With our innovative spirit, dedicated shops, mobile service and real-time data, we’re dedicated to helping drive Anheuser-Busch’s sustainability efforts and business forward. Together, we can build even better communities.”

Estimates show that the St. Louis and Houston fleets will travel more than 8.5 million miles each year. By using Renewable Natural Gas, Anheuser-Busch expects to reduce its emissions by more than 70% compared to conventional diesel fuel. This reduction is the equivalent of taking more than 66 thousand passenger cars off the road or planting more than 8 million new trees.
